Warranty Statement

1.Shenzhen HXW Semiconductor Co., Ltd. ("HXW") warrants that HXW-branded products are free from defects in materials and manufacturing under normaluse.

2.Should any HXW product exhibit material or functional defects, HXW reserves the right, at its discretion, to repair or replace the product with an equivalent functional unit.

3.All replacement products provided to consumers—whether repaired refurbished units or new items—undergo rigorous quality verification to ensure performance parity with new products.

Limited Warranty

HXW’s warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by external factors, accidents, abuse, or improper use.

Data loss or corruption under any circumstances.

  • (1)Failure due to force majeure, environmental hazards, or improper handling.
  • (2) Unauthorized disassembly, modification, firmware/SPD alterations, or part replacement.
  • (3) Tampered, damaged, or missing product/warranty/anti-counterfeit labels.
  • (4) Invalid, altered, or unidentifiable serial numbers.
  • (5) Purchase through non-authorized distributors.
  • (6) Corrosion, rust, contamination, or oxidation from non-compliant environments.
  • (7) Functional deficiencies or incompatibilities arising from improper operation/environment.
  • (8) Failure to operate/maintain the product per specified requirements.
  • (9) Damage from transportation hazards or force majeure events.
  • (10) Loss/damage from accidents, pollution, improper repairs, or external factors.
  • (11) Failures caused by malware, unsupported third-party software/components.
  • (12) Unauthorized modifications or repairs.
  • (13) Cosmetic damage (scratches, fractures, corrosion) unless verified as original material defects during unboxing.
  • (14) Engineering samples, evaluation units, or non-retail products.

HXW reserves the right to decline repairs. Paid repair services may be offered at HXW’s sole discretion.All costs (repairs, parts, roundtrip shipping/insurance) will be borne by the customer.

Service requests must be submitted formally to HXW’s central after-sale center with product details.

 

 

Product Warranty Service

Memory products

-The 3 years warranty for HXW memory products begins from the date of sale.

  • SSD Products

-HXW SSD: 3-year limited warranty from date of sale

-Applies to verified quality issues under normal use

-Replacement warranty period remains unchanged (based on original purchase)

 

Policy Update (Effective Jan 1, 2025)

All HXW consumer products now implement two-way warranty:

Customers bear roundtrip shipping/insurance costs

Warranty periods calculated from original purchase date

 

 

Description

Take 2.5 inches ssd as an example. Three-year limited warranty. Either warranty service is up, the warranty is considered expired. If the product is used more than 3 years or the data written exceeds 80 TB (though within the warranty period), the product is no longer covered.

The aforesaid warranty period starts from the date of sale or the date of manufacture. To use the warranty service, consumers shall offer proof of purchase (e.g., invoice or delivery order). The warranty period starts from the date of sale. If consumers cannot provide proof, the warranty period is counted from the date of manufacture.

 

 

Precautions

(1) For storage-enabled products, back up original data before repair submission. HXW bears no liability for data loss/damage during repair.
(2) Certain products may be repaired via component replacement; returned units may not be originals.
(3) For out-of-warranty products, HXW may provide extended paid services at its discretion. Discontinued products are listed on HXW’s official website ("Discontinued Products List").
(4) HXW does not support capacity upgrades or chip production date requests.
(5) Accessories (packaging, manuals, drives, protective cases, USB cables, brackets) for HXW portable SSDs/HDDs are excluded from warranty.
(6) Kit purchases require full kit return for warranty compliance.
(7) Repaired/replaced products carry warranty covering the longer of: Original warranty’s remaining period and 90 days post-repair.

(8) Extended warranties may be purchased through HXW/authorized partners during hardware purchase or quoting. Applies only to factory-packaged HXW products (excludes third-party components). Contact HXW Sales for details.

 

 

Disclaimers
  1. HXW is only liable for maintenance and testing of its products.No data backup/restoration services are provided. HXW bears no liability for data loss due to any factor.
  2. HXW does not compensate buyers or third parties for inevitable/indirect/incidental losses from product flaws (e.g., income loss, business investment loss, goodwill loss, enterprise relationship obstacles). HXW assumes no obligation for damages to other equipment caused by its products.
  3. HXW is not liable for defects/damages or data loss during product delivery. HXW has no obligation to keep stored data confidential. Back up and delete all data before service.
  4. Within applicable laws, HXW shall not be liable for profit loss, expected cost loss, data loss, or other indirect/accidental/derivative damages arising from product use.
  5. HXW products lack high safety design. Do not use in:

Life-sustaining equipment or devices where flaws may cause injury/death, including:
• Medical/military equipment • Aircraft/traffic control
• Disaster prevention systems • Combustion/nuclear systems

HXW bears no liability for injuries/losses from such use.

 

 

Miscellaneous

The aforesaid warranty terms are unique and complete, and will replace all other oral or written agreements, and they are not accompanied by any other guarantees of the merchantability or suitability of this product for specific purposes that are not stated here, either express or implied.

 

 

Sending Method
  1. Deliver warrantied goods to HXW’s designated location via express. (For bulk quantities, use logistics to HXW’s specified logistics point).
  2.  HXW and customer bear one-way freight respectively. HXW may refuse collect shipments.
  3.  The shipper pays one-way freight and bears potential loss during transit.
  4.  Goods must include delivery order. Missing orders causing loss: customer bears full responsibility.
  5.  Regional warranty policies apply. End customers must submit claims through HXW-authorized distributors/agents for standardized service. Direct claims to HXW may be rejected.
  6.  For on-site SLA services: Customer must provide equipment access, workspace, power, and peripherals (screen/keyboard/mouse).
  7.  For phone/remote troubleshooting: Customer agrees to provide necessary information for remote diagnostics and payment assessment.
  8.  Regularly back up data, especially before HXW return authorization. HXW assumes no liability for loss of personal data, programs, or portable media.
